Product Engineer - External Ecosystems

We at Bayer Consumer Health Digital Transformation and IT (DT&IT) organization is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and agile Product Engineer External Ecosystems (incl External Manufacturing) to contribute to the transformation of the Consumer Health (CH) division supporting our ambition to become the Best Consumer Health Company.
As a Product Engineer you are the expert in digital technologies and concepts for Supply Optimization – External Ecosystems and responsible for technical specification and technical quality of the delivered solutions. You work closely with IT partners and solution providers on technical design, planning and implementation as well as supports installation of applications/operating systems. Furthermore, you also participates in the creation of training documents, testing scenarios, test results reviews and analysis of outcomes, certification of software.
Key tasks & responsabilities
•Responsible for technical expertise in the area of Supply Optimization – External Ecosystems, aligned with the functional Product Supply in general and connection with external partners in specific
•Works closely with Product Manager and Process Analyst to translate functional requirements into technical specifications, creation of work packages for IT solutions providers and Key delivery partners
•Acts as technical expert in the areas of Product Supply Optimization – External Ecosystems
•Assess suitability and determines operational feasibility of proposed technical solutions
•Validates installation plans for technical against Bayer IT specifications and standards
•Acts as a product expert for user questions about the digital product features and capabilities in production. Identifies appropriate actions based on user questions or issues
•Supports user adoption through contributing to training documentation, launch plans to achieve best business outcome from the solutions
•Use of agile principles for product technical design and working with providers, other IT teams and user communities through SCRUM methodology
•Designs and establishes metrics to monitor solution adoption, solution performance, data flow and usage. Investigates problem areas and recommends changes in policies and procedures to improve
technical operations.

Qualifications & Competencies:
•Growth mindset and proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
•Winning Experience in a Team
•Passionate about collaborating in a team environment as well as exercise independent judgment
•5+ years of experience in the field of IT / ERP solutions including cloud environment
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
•Knowledge in Software Engineering, e.g. Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing
•Experience in technical specifications and software architecture
•Experience in data integration across different IT solutions
•Methods of technical requirements analysis
•Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
•Experience of working with IT in the Supply Chain environment is desirable
•Knowledge and practical experience in usage of SCRUM and agile methodology
